your diaper bag needs a diaper bag

it may not make sense, but trust us, it makes sense. your diaper bag backpack will be packed to the brim with everything you could possibly need (more on that below) in the event your checked baggage gets lost, so ironically, you probably won’t have room left for diapers. a foldable, clip on changing pad with diapering essentials inside is all you need to bring to the bathroom for a change.

don’t be a looser

avoid a huge mess and security hold up by keeping all loose items contained in separate pouches. this goes for the stroller basket too. everything must have a place!

easy access

keep first-aid, changes of clothes, and most used items like bibs, snacks, wipes, and bottles on top.

pee you later

number twos require immediate attention, and usually occur no where near an acceptable changing station. you may find yourself on the bathroom floor of a moving train, or at the gate. with some practice, you can execute a pants on diaper change that will save you in these situations! stay tuned for a separate post on that..
